At this time, plastic is still the best material for pumps. However, we have taken steps to decrease the environmental impact of them. In fact, 87% of the remaining plastic components in our assortment moved from virgin plastic to PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic, meaning we are bringing less new plastic into the world.

We have also partnered with the Pact Collective to make recycling components like pumps easier than ever. And of course, we remain Certified Plastic Negative, meaning we pay to offset any plastic that we do use, holding ourselves accountable to our goal of reducing environmental impact.
